My name is Vess Lang and this blog is my portfolio.

I’m a short-story writer and an author of articles on psychological and social topics. I graduated from Sofia University with a BA in Philosophy. This education gave me a high level of general culture, ability to express clearly my thoughts and notions, skills to research, compare and combine different viewpoints. I keep being interested in human behaviour and the environment in which it develops. For that reason psychology and sociology are the fields on which I have the most knowledge.
 More than 10 years I was an owner of an offline bookshop. That fact means I had thousands meetings with people who gave me particles of their life experiences.

All the time I haven't stopped reading and also examining people’ needs and emotions. Creating a literature characters, especially when they are odd and have negative traits, is that thing I’m really good at. I would love to place these characters as participants in different kinds of stories which could be amusing, but also asking questions and giving ideas for answers.

Flash fiction is my passion and pleasure.
